Katrin Kirchmann

Katrin Kirchmann studied law at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt/a.M. and at Humboldt University Berlin with focus on industrial and IT law. During her law clerk time at an international law firm in Düsseldorf, Kirchmann focused on corporate law. Kirchmann expanded her expertise in IT, industrial, and corporate law during her occupational activity as an in-house jurist at a software company in Berlin, which she assisted with legal advice from its start up phase until its establishment as a medium sized business. Here, lawyer Kirchmann learned to notably comprehend and implement the operational particularities of a technology-orientated company, which has to be flexible and which has to respond quickly to customer needs. Due to these practical experiences, Kirchmann particularly knows the requirements a client has towards an efficient and practical legal advice.

Lawyer Kirchmann’s legal advice focuses on the drafting of corporate and investment contracts, on the implementation of complex IT projects, and on the creation of standard contracts for IT and multimedia companies. Alongside, Kirchmann supports clients with the conceptual design of business models including issues of competition, trademark, privacy and distance selling law. Kirchmann is dedicated to pleading client’s legal cases in court.
